Magic of Miniatures: Dollhouse Decorating

Calling all Mini Makers! Join us as we experience the "Magic of Miniatures: Dollhouse Decorating," a special opportunity for girls AND boys to customize a wooden dollhouse with paint, wallpaper, and embellishments such as ribbon, trim, stickers, and buttons!

This workshop is a three-hour session where Makers will freely paint and decorate a pre-built wooden dollhouse, followed by a healthy snack and circle time where we will read and discuss This Is My Dollhouse, by Giselle Potter. Makers will then create small furniture and characters using wooden pegs and clothespins.

This workshop is a make-and-take opportunity for girls AND boys ages 3-12. All supplies (and snacks!) are included.

Note: Although smocks are provided, please wear clothes that can get dirty (i.e., can get splattered with paint and sticky with glue!).

9:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Painting
10:00 AM - 10:30 AM: Snack Break, Read Aloud, & Wiggle Time
10:30 AM - 11:00 AM: Wallpaper and Embellishments
11:00 AM - 11:30 AM: Furniture & Characters
11:45 AM - 12:00 PM: Dollhouse Tours & Cleanup
