Race To The Rescue: Superhero Garages

Calling all Mini Makers! Join us for "Race to the Rescue: Superhero Garages," a special opportunity for girls AND boys to customize a wooden, multi-story toy car garage using paint, wallpaper, and embellishments such as ribbon, trim, stickers, and buttons!

This workshop is a three-hour session where Makers will freely paint and decorate a pre-built wooden garage, followed by a healthy snack and circle time where we will read and discuss Ten Rules of Being a Superhero, by Deb Pilutti. Makers will then create small furniture and characters using wooden pegs and clothespins.

This workshop is a make-and-take opportunity for girls AND boys ages 3-12. All supplies (and snacks!) are included.

Note: Although smocks are provided, please wear clothes that can get dirty (i.e., can get splattered with paint and sticky with glue!).

9:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Painting
10:00 AM - 10:30 AM: Snack Break, Read Aloud, & Wiggle Time
10:30 AM - 11:00 AM: Wallpaper and Embellishments
11:00 AM - 11:30 AM: Furniture & Characters
11:45 AM - 12:00 PM: House Tours & Cleanup
